Battlefield 4 Game Maps

These are the different maps that are available in the Battlefield 4 PC base game. Each map is available in every gamemode.
  • MP_Abandoned - Zavod 311
  • MP_Damage - Lancang Dam
  • MP_Flooded - Flood Zone
  • MP_Journey - Golmud Railway
  • MP_Naval - Paracel Storm
  • MP_Prison - Operation Locker
  • MP_Resort - Hainan Resort
  • MP_Siege - Siege of Shanghai
  • MP_TheDish - Rogue Transmission
  • MP_Tremors - Dawnbreaker

Battlefield 4 Game Modes

These are the different gamemodes which are available for the Battlefield 4 PC base game maps.

how you set map ?

Battlefield 3

my.gameservers.com -> Config -> Choose File: Map Cycle (/Admin/MapList.txt)

ConquestLarge0 - Has more vehicles and larger maps than ConquestSmall
ConquestSmall0 - Has fewer vehicles and smaller maps than ConquestLarge
RushLarge0
SquadRush0
TeamDeathMatch0
SquadDeathMatch0

For this example, a variety of gametypes. Each gametype will be 4 rounds. If a 64 slot server is set to a gametype that allows less than 64 slots OR has the gametype set to less than 64 slots, only that amount of players will be able to join and play in the server.

what should the maplist.txt look like for a complete map rotation for a 64 player server?

here is what I have now
Levels/MP/MP_Siege/MP_Siege NA 1

I believe he's asking how you properly format your maplist.txt to work correctly for Battlefield 4. Wouldn't mind hearing on that myself!

is there a way to randomize maps and modes?

how do you force more players in a game mode? they did this on the beta and in bf3 too

p.s. this is my 1st time adminning a server and am trying to get 64 players on every mode and every map rotating randomly if possible

Set it out like this guys

MP_Abandoned ConquestLarge0 1
MP_Damage ConquestLarge0 1

MP_Prison ConquestLarge0 1
MP_Resort ConquestLarge0 1
MP_TheDish ConquestLarge0 1
MP_Tremors ConquestLarge0 1

so it's set out as follows. Map codename | gametype | number of rounds.

If you want a random gametype all you have to do is mix up the the gametypes in the config and it will just run the gametype you have out in the config.

I have a 26 player server, so 20 player+2Commanders + 4Spectators ?
Can I remove the commanders and spectators? and just 26 player in the game

I've got a 24 player server but gametracker is showing me 20 slots i want to use all 24 slots how can i do this?

For people that want to disable spectators.
Put this in your serverconfig in the advanced editor:
vars.maxSpectators 0

Can't post a thing due to spam protection :twisted: I wonder is it possible to set join password for commander slots only? Or have some kind of list of players allowed to join as a commander (as with spectators). Sadly I found only one commander related variable in administration documents.

with that code the server runs in ranked but unofficial, no?
