New Server, how do I keep its size under control.

Post by murllin » Mon Mar 07, 2016 9:01 pm

Hi I recently started a new space engineers server. Pretty basic planets map. It has been a struggle figuring everything out without any real guides from game servers site.

The server has run only for a day and already the download to join my server has reached 10mb.

I have reduced the number of floating objects as well as turned off any hounds and spiders.

It does however spawn pirates still.... alot of them.

What can I do to turn them off and keep my server clean, like clearing trash automatically or things like that.

The largest file on my server is the SANDBOX_0_0_0_.sbs at about 8000kb
Then of course the Earth file at 2000kb.

Any help would be appreciated.

There should be settings within your world's sandbox.sbc file to disable certain npc's from the server, however if you are running a planets scenario, I do not believe there is a setting to disable them.
