Waiting for a response technical support for three days, what kind of boorish behavior for their service users?

Yes, this topic has come up quite often on the forums unfortunately.

The structure they have set up allows for much optimization, but everything is done to be "safe" rather than sorry. They prevent DLL's from being uploaded, (common practice) but it also inhibits a user's ability to update their own server and install their own mods.

However, I can tell you that dollar for dollar, you will not find a game server provider that is more affordable than Gameservers. Other server companies that I have tried before will often charge a premium price for faster support. And in the end, I discovered that I was very rarely asking for support. In the past 3 months, I've only submitted one ticket. So realistically, the initial setup and configuration can be a nightmare - but in the end, it'll be better.
