*HELP* Trying to set up a competive server

Post by TwoBitt » Wed Sep 06, 2017 10:05 pm

Sorry for being so clueless, but I've been looking at alot of tutorials and there all on steamcmd so it's a bit confusing for me. And, the ftp tutorial on the website has files in different locations then I do on my ftp after a fresh server install. I can't even really get my server renamed or connect to it :(

I'm trying to make a server that rotates threw workshop maps in a comp format. If anyone could link me to a good tutorial or even add me on steam to help walk me threw it. Would be happy to give some CSGO skins as a tip ;)

SteamName:TwoBitt
there's a picture of a dog in the grass
Edit changed name to :Need CSGO server help!
still picture of a dog

I used steamcmd to settle up dedicated server before, and the csgosl tool also good. It's all on the valve page , but csgosl is much easier, need to create a map group, then select downloaded maps into it, and start the mapgroup with one of the map in it. Just find the maps ID and map collections ID in url and copy paste into csgosl
