I'm running a server through Game Servers for TF2. It's an idling server with a custom idling map that I made myself. I have update the map at least 5 different time and been able to host it on my server and have people download it without a hitch until today. I updated my map again, used FileZilla to put it on my server, made the map the startup map and now no one can get on the server without telling them that the map is missing; including me. Everyone is able to download the map, but when it is finished downloading it disconnects users trying to get on my server. I checked my path file (Program Files>Steam>Steamapps>ect.ect.ect.) and the map is right there, so it's not like I'm missing it but for some reason I cannot get on without being disconnected. Can anyone help me with this problem at all?

If you open a support ticket, our tech support should be able to get that worked out for you if it's a settings or redirect related issue.

If it's a problem with the map itself, you may want to compare it to the old version of the map to see what's causing it.

If it has increased in size, you may want to adjust the net_maxfilesize of the server and bump it up to 128.

I just opened a ticket, hopefully that would work. I did adjust the net_maxfilesize when I was trying to get it to work but it still did not work. As the for the map size, it went from about 2.9MB to 3.04MB

I'm having a similar problem with a server I am admining and no one that comes to the server can download the maps that the server is running unless they have already been on the map and have downloaded it once before and it says "missing map". I have been sending them to zeibig dot me slash hl2mp slash maps so that they can download the maps and then they are able to get on the server. zeibig is just a simple index page with a long list of maps, you might want to have them include your map there if you have not already. I have already gone to the game servers home page in the config setting and turned on and off the enable map downloads check box hoping to jog the setting but it has not worked yet.
