I was able to upgrade it manually, so np. Just waiting for a recommended bukkit right now.

Just download the server software to your pc then transfer it over to the server, pretty simple if you ask me.

Just the updated .jar file? Or do you need more than that. I already treid and it hasn't work.

I submitted a ticket and was told they had updated the server but still can't connect.

Yeah, that pretty much worked for me. If the server says something like "Invalid server ticket" that's just a 1.0 bug.

Nope no joy.

And been 4 hours since I submitted my last ticket.

No happy. All I want to is mess around on a vanilla server

If gameservers do not have up to date servers then they should put a disclaimer on the order section.

Well, i think they do. You could remove bukkit if you want a vanilla server because that might be your problem. I'm not 100% sure how though. Dig around.

Since it would be silly to start another thread, i would like to ask another question. My server is up and running working and all just fine, and i'm currently working on getting GameTracker to work. I have edited the config file with my name, but it does not show up on the GameTracker, i have minequery installed and it seems to be working otherwise. Any idea of what might be the problem?

-Damn, i need to do more research before i post here. Ok, problem seems to be with after 1.8 there's no server name in the config and therefore they cant detect it. Hopefully the GameTracker team will look into this.-

You can upgrade your minecraft by clicking on the update button in the mods section of your control panel

I have tried that a few times now, the server is still outdated(1.8.1).
Even after I replace the server.jar it's outdated.

Minecraft 1.0?

Who is online
