Ok so i'm trying to get my server up and running and i'm bumping into some problems.

When I launch the server console pops up and says "server started successfully" then tries to connect to server where it attempts 5 times to connect and finally says it has "failed to connect to server"

Current setup is as follows.
steam query udp 27015 open
steam auth udp 8766 open
rcon port 1 udp 27010 open
rcon port 2 udp 27011 open

I have even tried opening the tcp side of things and still have the same issue.

Any help is appreciated!!!

LOL sorry but you're not gonna get a response in these forums about running your own server. GS is in the business of renting out and making money off of these servers...why would they tell us or allow anyone tell you how to do it? I'm having the same problem, can't find the info anywhere and I run several home servers with several other games with no problems. it's frustrating. If anyone has this info, please reply. thanks..

Ok well believe it or not yesterday I got it to run. What I didn't have setup properly was A:Direct X 11 installed. B: NAT translation properly configured.

On my server it has two nics one connecting to the internet and one to the lan and it acts like a gateway. What I didn't do was specify an ip address in the Homefront config. I never had to for other games, but this one wants one. Up and running finally!
