Servers keep disconnecting all players, uptime remains the same as before the player dump, so the servers does not crash.

We have had 3 of theese disconnects within the last couple of hours, it happens simultaneously on all of our 4 servers.

It has been an issue since the R26 update, happening once a day, but not as bad as this evening.

We are experiencing the same thing. It had been happening about once each evening but seems to be getting more frequent. We had two "player dumps" inside an hour last night - that was the end of gaming in our server for the evening.

Sydney based 32 slot server.

I was told by GS support that the disconnects are happening because Battlelog loses connection for just under a second and since BF3 needs connection to Battlelog to function it will take effect no matter how short a disconnect Battlelog suffers.

I hope theese ongoing Battlelog updates will solve this issue as it has become so much of a gamekiller that we consider wether or not to run servers at all, the past week we had theese disconnects at least 2 times a day, and it is a hard job populating 4 servers twice a day or even more.

Ive been in contact with the devs about this issue, and its not as GS claims it is.
Or at least not what they claimed it was in the start....

GS claimed that it was the Battlelog that was the issue, but the BL Dev told me its not BL -

Quote:
Q : @Elxx If my server drops from battlelog, drops all the players and im not able to connect to the server via procon... is that related to BL?

A : Elton Muuga @NemisizZ Nope, not Battlelog related. Something on the master servers..

Then i turned back to the GS support and had to use words i rarely use, were they replied this -

Quote:
"We apologize for the difficulty you were having. Reviewing records, it appears as though this particular location has seen some scenarios where higher than average traffic in has been detected.
This likely indicates a DDoS type scenario.

The location is functioning as intended and your server instance is working properly. We will continue to monitor the location for additional issues and if you have similar difficulty, you are invited to reply here.
"

So im just wondering what GS is doing here, and for how long they will keep trying to cover up their mistakes or what ever their doing...

And my server just dropped every single player once again...
This happens every 5-6hr after a drop! pattern much... yeah...

And this problem is isolated to GS only, so DO not fall for their lies, i have checked several server hosts, and GS is the only one with this problem.

hi, the drops do happen to other providers. every 5 or 6 hours however, does not sound right.

but just know that other servers do have these "blaze disconnects" often.. where everyone gets disconnected from the server but the server is still up and running (you can tell by the server uptime in procon). i use 3 providers and its the same across the board. some weeks are worse than others.

it seems that different providers are getting ddosd a lot lately. and since the connection of our servers to blaze is so delicate, any little disruption is going to kick everyone off.
