So, I wanted to install a mod on my game server, Terra firma craft. So I reckoned this should be like installing the mod on my home server, just adding the mod files to the server jar, so I thought I would only need to upload the .jar file to the server and that would be it. However when I did that though I managed to play for a short duration until I got some kind of a connection error message and after that I couldn't reconnect to the server so I rolled back to vanilla.

So what am I doing wrong?

If you submit a support ticket we will be happy to install this mod correctly for you. Please make sure to include a valid link to the mod you are wanting installed. We will install the mod correctly to your server, however all configuration of it is up to you.

If you go to my.gameservers.com you can submit a support ticket from the "Support" tab.

I did that and they said that they do not support mod loader mods. So anyone knows how should I do this myself? I have installed it on my home server, but when I tried doing the same thing to install it on my purchased server it didn't work.

As great as Mods are you should just look into SpoutCraft, Spout has support-API for a lot of major addons like;

• New ores
• New armors
• New mobs
• New terrain
• New items

You can force your users to download the spout client to play on your spout server so you know they are receiving the same benefits, or you don't have to and they can just sit around without half of the awesome content you installed on the server, Your Choice!

I know this doesn't help you with your 'Mod' support but let me say modding is a headache and im sure you will find something equally as awesome in the spout community.
