I have just bought a 75 slot mumble server that i cannot connect to. I can connect to other gameserver.com mumble servers so it must be a problem your side. When I try to connect i get this

[11:45:36] Reconnecting.
[11:45:55] Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection.
[11:46:05] Reconnecting.
[11:46:24] Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection.
[11:46:34] Reconnecting.
[11:46:53] Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection.
[11:47:03] Reconnecting.
[11:47:22] Server connection failed: The remote host closed the connection.

I have restated through the game servers control panel several times and it is still not working. Can you look at this urgently as I wanted to buy and set it up today.

Your service in the past has been very good but i don't expect to have to pay for services i don't get. Can you please sort this out before I decide to take my money elsewhere. Thanks

can you go to a friend's computer to try it out? or ask a few users to try to log in (all users can log in on a newly bought server).

My guess is your firewall or router does not allow communication on a certain port number/protocol that mumble uses.


Edit, scratch that, i see the post is 2 months old, the issue ought to have been resolved by now

Yes timberton, I also think the same. Because I also have the same problem with me, but later on I came to know that it was my virus software that restricted to communicate with the others. So I have give rights to use that as well as communicate that.
