So I want to setup a host banner for my clan's teamspeak3 server.

I get into the Edit Virtual Server and all the host options are greyed out to me.

I am an admin on the server and I seem to have all the permissions to edit and changed whatever, just not the host banner.

When I go into Server Groups, the admin group has everything ticked except for

"Client can edit server host settings( maxclients, filetransfer quotas etc.)"

Which has a blue box. When I attempt to change it to a tick and press apply it aborts the action.

It seems that there is a Super Admin for my server and either I'm being disallowed or I havn't setup the admin correctly. In which case I would love some help.

I'm actually unsure if we're even able to edit the Banner....I'd either wait for another user to respond, submit a ticket, or visit the TeamSpeak 3 forums to see if there's more than one way to change it.

I do remember several settings users are not allowed to change, I'm uncertain if one of them is this.

I have This problem too, i have a friend that had a ts3 server thru game servers and he has access to change the host tab,

Usually we get access to all virtual server and none to global server, the last time i had a ts3 server thru gs i could edit them

Maybe they changed policy on it? Ill submit a ticket myself and post back their answer

Log into your Game Servers Control Panel.
Get your Teamspeak 3 Token Key
Go into your Teamspeak Server
Go to 'Permissions' at the top and click 'Use Privilege Key'
Use the Token Key you got from your control panel.
