Hi all.

I've ordered a game server, and have been given the IP addy. Furthermore, I've added rocmod to the server.

Firstly, how do I give my server a name?

Secondly, looking at the ftp site, there appear to be all the relevant files on the server, do I need to upload anything from my computer?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I've never raun a server before, neither do I know anyone that does, so any help in setting thins up would be appreciated.

I don't know how the SOF2 server administration is handled here at GS, but i assume you have FTP access to a file in rocmod folder called server.cfg, in there you should find a line seta sv_hostname "xxxxxxx" .
Replace xxxxxxx with whatever you want your server to be named.
