Question Please. I have Sourcemod running per the Gameservers Update button. I saw the L4Downtown inof you have above, very neat. Wold I just grab that, and unzip it on the server from Gameservers? Never did this stuff before. Or would I unzip it then put it up there. Also, do I need to turn cheats on then? And do I need to type anything in to execute it? Mostly I wanted to up the players 10 or 12 and allow Spectators. Thanks for any help!

First off, make sure you're running the source mod 1.3 or later snapshot. Until gameservers staff verify
that they've fixed that update button, I can't tell for sure. I install it manually whenever I set up gameservers
for people.
Secondly, when you install left 4 downtown, also install admin cheats. It allows cheats even with sv_cheats 0.
You'll also need Super Versus to enable more than 8 playability slots. However, if you're looking for the extra
4 slots to be spectator only, you only need Left 4 Downtown, and not Super Versus. The respective urls
should be available.

I was about to grab L4Deadtown and Admin Cheats so I can jack up a few things. I saw this:
Set "sm_admin_cheats_level" to the desired access level, and load the plugin.
This should be set to a flag, ex: "z", "b", etc

As such, once loaded do I add the command line sm_admin_cheats_level 10 to the CFG? I don't understand the level bit. I just want to tweak soem things, drop them in the cfg and have them work. How would I do this once these are installed, what value woudl I put in there, and do I need to do something to initiate it? Thanks... sorry I'm not to good at this.

Just to clarify, any commands that you enter into your server.cfg that contain "sm_cvar " will override the sv_cheats setting. If it's a command that normally requires sv_cheats 1, it will still activate, as long as you use sm_cvar to do so.

I'll get around to posting an update to the first post of this topic, I wasn't aware so many people had viewed this topic.
I've written a new version of snarespeak, and some of the other plugins posted about above.

I have also received a lot of emails concerning server setups, and other server issues. Due to the large volume of emails, I'll simply post an update at the top of this thread, which will hopefully cover most of the topics sent to me through email.
