This is the second server within the past month, different location that this has happened.

Could someone explain why this happened again? Our clan made several trouble tickets to one server located in this area. But gameservers just kept closing trouble tickets we made. Trouble tickets were also made for a game server hosted in San Jose as well as teamspeak out of Los Angeles those were closed by gameservers as well.

Having same issue here. Massive packet loss and connection interruption.. like u just can't connect to server.

Is there a reason why again my trouble ticket was closed? We have had ongoing issues with our server for months.
Opening a trouble ticket only to have it closed defeats the purpose.

Explanation was it was the network. We've tried that in the past, to no avail.
However, once the network issue is completely resolved a new ticket and or the previous ticket will be reopen.
Our clan realizes that we all need to be patient, but moving 2 servers 3 times the level of frustration is there.

It would be nice it gameservers would allow people who rent servers more hands on instead of having to make trouble tickets over simple things we can do ourselves, such as adding this 2.55+ patch as stated in the link below.

I'll let you in on a little secret, If you want to, you can create a ticket for a mod install, and then head over to the IRC ( gamesurge.net/chat and then type /join #gameservers ), see if there is an OP there and then post your ticket number. It'll work a little faster for you.

In the topic above, as stated by h4x, some mods require to be linked in a ticket as they can pose a security threat if not properly installed

Here is a little secret for you. How about u stop spamming in each topic which is none of your concern? You, yourself said in one post that you host your server from home. God you post in each topic without any useful solution.

Network issue is their and it's a fact. Going to IRC will not resolve it.

And what revkingcurtiss is 100% true. revkingcurtiss, what's u xfire?

Our Wolfenstein et out of Chicago continues to lag then crash, its using the latest silent mod.
This keeps happening every week. A full server is basically emptied out because of this continued issue.
We have tried numerous times to get gameservers to find the crash information and even supplied our own findings in numerous trouble tickets.

I will again make another trouble ticket yet again and wait.

It lags first then crashes, for two months now. Players can not connect and typically just lag out if they can.

Has been an issue of lagging then crashing. We have silent mod currently, was etpub prior to April has been acting up.
We previously submitted a crash report on our own, and gameservers found nothing. But since its still acting up we hope you guys can find the cause and come up with a solution.
We do NOT want to move our server to a new machine !!


If someone could please fix our server, thank you.

Gameservers could not find any issues again and today the Chicago based server is lagging.
So why even bother to make a support ticket if nothing is fixed?

For the silent mod based server the issue could be that the network out of Chicago is over loaded and out of sink.
